Dan is also a freelance director, writer, teacher and academic in both the United Kingdom and the United States. He specialises in directing new writing for the stage, teaching improvisatory directing and acting methods, and conducting anthropological research.
Previously, Dan was Associate Director (New Work and Talent Development) at the Mercury Theatre Colchester.
