Scottish BAFTA-winning writer – over 30 episodes of Children’s Television Drama including creation of two series for CITV. (UNCLE DAD, BUTTERFINGERS, NOW’S THE HOUR, THE ICE CREAM MACHINE, HALLOWE’EN 3-D, WOOLAMALOO). Other awards include Promax UK Gold & Silver Awards, Red Planet Prize (Finalist), Bruntwood Prize (long list), Manchester Evening News Theatre Arts Award, Spirit of Mayfest Award, Art Sutter Pick of the Fringe, Scottish Comedy Awards, Lifetime Achievement.
For the BBC he has been a script reader, comedy consultant, stand-up judge, and writing tutor. Currently teaching Screen and Comedy writing for the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, and permanent lecturer in Scriptwriting for Glasgow Caledonian University.
