Maureen Chadwick

Maureen was a Creative Director and Co-Founder of Shed Productions in 1998 along with Eileen Gallagher, Ann McManus and Brian Park, where she co-created the long-running and award-winning TV dramas BAD GIRLS, FOOTBALLERS’ WIVES and WATERLOO ROAD. Maureen remained at Shed until the company was bought out by Time Warner in 2010 when she returned to freelance writing.

She has previously written for ANGELS, EASTENDERS, and CORONATION STREET and single plays for BBC Screen One WATCH WITH MOTHER and TWO GOLDEN BALLS.

Her theatre credits include JOSEPHINE (musical play), DUST and THE SPEED TWINS as well as musical books for BAD GIRLS – THE MUSICAL, CRUSH and THE REALNESS.

Current projects include FOOTBALLERS’ WIVES (musical) and UNACCEPTABLE VIOLENT BEHAVIOUR (play).
